Piazza Affari Milano Fragranze 2022
1
Quite beautiful. I underestimated you
Piazza Affari has pleasantly surprised me, I must say.
I didn't really expect much, and it's all the more delightful when you actually like the scent.
With this fragrance, you can't go wrong if you're looking for a great, citrusy, and slightly bitter summer scent.
The fragrance opens directly with wonderful citrus vibes. The lime really comes through well. It is quite zesty, as if the lime juice is mixed with a bit of carbonation. At the same time, it is also quite bitter, which mostly comes from the peel. The peel/zest usually brings a great aroma, along with a slightly bitter/herbaceous note.
Additionally, there is the pleasant pepper note as a player.
Pink pepper generally pairs excellently with citrus scents.
The pink pepper itself has a very slight citrus character in parts. It also often brings that juniper-like quality with it. It fits perfectly here.
Over time, a pleasant lavender note also comes into play. Gradually, it becomes a little less citrusy.
Towards the end, the woody facet of the fragrance emerges, and it becomes quite vetiver-heavy.
The longevity on my skin is about seven hours.
The sillage is okay. Not overwhelming, but also not bad. I would say it's so-so in this regard.
There are phases where it projects well, but there are also times when it doesn't want to project much at all.
