I'm not really familiar with such high-priced fragrances, so I'll hold back and won't write my own statement. I would agree with your slightly critical assessment. The scent is extremely pleasant and well-made, which makes it hard to criticize. However, I miss the "personality," the charm, the self-irony. For the price, I would think twice about it. The Jo Malone fragrances have a similar vibe.
