More tea is not possible
At the beginning, a small digression. Tales claim that the Emperor of China liked to sit in the shade of his tea trees. One time, a leaf fell into his glass of water, and he noticed that it changed color and gained flavor. Green tea was born. I don’t think the story is true, but I find it very beautiful.
This scent is beautiful as well. In the opening, you get a full dose of tea. More tea is not possible. Extremely refreshing and summery. I think it doesn’t change much over time, which I actually see as a plus in this case. It is very similar to the Wūlóng Chá Extrait de Parfum, with hardly any notable differences. I also really like the simple bottle design, and with this great sprayer, you’re practically in a tea shower.
I found the sillage to be a good average. I could perceive it for about 7 hours and a half arm's length away. I’m curious if some aging will bring about a change.
Conclusion: If you want an amazing tea scent at really good quality, you don’t necessarily have to dig deep into your pockets. Monkoku Chayora shows the way.
