The Non-Retro Leather Jacket Scent!

I know that the title I chose may seem a bit strange, but let me explain, ladies and gentlemen!

So, I noticed some time ago that the so-called "leather jacket scents" are mostly very old-school perfumes. This may have to do with the fact that fragrances nowadays are predominantly very light - in terms of the complexity of the notes - accessible to everyone, and - especially considering recent years - sweet, "dessert-like," so that their production is even worthwhile.

But such scents do not fit a leather jacket! They do not exude any "coolness," but rather a desire to please everyone, which, well, is certainly not the philosophy of leather jacket wearers!

But what can a designer brand do in such a situation? - Coffee must have been the answer from the A*Men perfumer! And that is genius! Coffee - a real black coffee, not that cappuccino mixture that is increasingly found in perfumes - is something that, on the one hand, doesn't give off strong grandpa vibes, and on the other hand, lends a certain darkness to the composition.

Now to the scent.

The scent starts off so fresh that some - myself included - might initially think it's a freshie. Then it becomes increasingly greener - it strongly reminds me of Fougère at first.

In the heart, the sweetness unfolds through the caramel. - I cannot perceive the honey.

Only in the drydown does the true star of this fragrance take the stage - beautiful black coffee! For the entire progression, there are 3 main accords: caramel, coffee, and mint.

Best regards
