Hair and Heart Perfume

Another Alien comment... the number of reviews says it all. Alien is everywhere. In Lidl, on the street, at work, at university. The times when it was "my" scent are over. I don't mind smelling a perfume I use here and there, but the hype around this purple bottle is no longer festive. It ruins all my fun.
So, enough of the whining. About the fragrance itself: I was very much in love with this sweet, "JASMINE!"-screaming, merciless shining Alien. The longevity blew me away. That is quality and - back then - uniqueness. Now I still wear it when I know I won't encounter too many others wearing it - which is already rare.
I hope I can wear it more often again soon, because I still like it incredibly much.
EDIT, over 4 years later:

I have it back! At first, I thought I could console myself with the Eau Extraordinaire over my separation from the EDP. But with it came the memories. So I have once again procured a bottle and I am very happy that, on one hand, the mass usage of Alien in public has really decreased (Westenra, it seems we live in different cities) and that, on the other hand, I still like it as much as I did before.

An interesting observation is that my nose seems to have toughened with age (yes, four years is quite something!) - I find it no longer as intrusive/biting as before. Nevertheless, I never spray more than half or a full spritz.

Someone here once used the term "hair perfume" for Alien. That's exactly what it is for me! I love wearing it in my hair (I almost prefer the Eau Extraordinaire there, because it holds best and is even fresher) and I think it smells like hair. Does that sound crazy? Cool hair, freshly washed, beautifully tousled by the (autumn) wind.

Alien is clean, fresh jasmine with a woody, sweet heart. I feel energized when I wear it; it is definitely not a lazy scent (unless it has completely settled after 5-6 hours).

For this reason, no bottle ever runs out for me. I’d prefer if no one used the same scents as I do! But of course, that’s unrealistic, sigh!

A male coworker (an athlete, totally not fussy) recently asked me if it was Alien... I thought the same thing! ;o)
