Otherworldly jasmine

When it comes to Mugler, the question always arises: are you an Angel or an Alien? If you look at my collection, you’d probably say I’m an Angel; however, Alien EDP is probably my favorite Mugler fragrance of all time. As someone that is a huge lover of jasmine, it only makes sense.

Alien has a quite a simple composition, but it’s fairly complex. 3 notes, jasmine Sambac, woods, and amber, it takes you on a rollercoaster from opening to dry down, without ever waning in strength. The opening is quite pungent and could be off putting for someone who isn’t used to the intense in which Mugler presents their frags. Slightly medicinal and sour, but once the scent has a chance to settle, it’s explodes with a sweet, oriental scent that’s bewitching and addicting. It dries down to a sweet woody scent with a much softer jasmine. From the fragrance itself, to the deep red-brown juice (I have one of the older formulations), to the dark purple bottle, Alien is every dark jasmine girls dream. It’s very sexy and bold, and needs to be worn with a gentle hand.

If you haven’t already, give this one a sample and see for yourself the magic that it truly is. I’ll always keep a bottle in my collection and will wear it loudly and proudly. One of the very best from Mugler.
