Very helpful Review
Oriental Bazaar with Myrrh and Floral Delights…
I rarely write reviews, and when I do, it’s only when a fragrance captivates me so much that it doesn’t let go (in this case, quite literally, it holds and holds).
I’ve been eyeing this Alien for a while, but I never dared to order a sample because I was afraid I might like it and consequently have to shell out a lot of money for a bottle… but my curiosity was too great, as all the fragrance components are my favorites. If I could create my dream scent, it would include these components - vanilla, heliotrope, myrrh, cashmeran - with a strong emphasis on the myrrh in this fragrance. Recently, in a well-known incense shop in Munich, I bought a packet of myrrh for home and have been burning it almost daily. The myrrh in this little Alien smells incredibly true to life, and as Plato would say, the myrrh in this fragrance is the embodiment of the idea of true myrrh. :D But I digress…
This Alien reminds me of an oriental bazaar where myrrh is being burned, and pretty white flowers and delicate vanilla pods are offered…
Initially, I can confirm that a very delicate, not overly intense menthol scent gently wafts through my nose, but it is immediately replaced by charming white flowers and this damn beautiful myrrh, which truly is one of a kind.
This scent is sensual, and I can imagine it on either a very sensual woman (sensual in the sense of self-awareness, but also sensual in the actual "sense" of experiencing impressions intensely), or on a woman who wants to deliberately radiate this sensuality and therefore wears this fragrance only on special occasions. In both cases, this fragrance is enchanting and fitting, and I really can’t imagine a better one.
The current purple Alien doesn’t have much in common with it, except for the cashmeran, which is the same in both. Otherwise, Alien Essence Absolue is a powdery (heliotrope), sensual (jasmine, cashmeran, amber), and alluring (vanilla) temptation that will surely appeal to the male gender as well.
I bought the sample and immediately put in a request for a bottle; now the bottle from a dear perfumer is on its way to me. I have grown so fond of it….

Kein Mugler außer diesem konnte mich je erobern. Aber wie es so ist: Ausgerechnet dieser ist rar geworden. Vielleicht findet er auch noch zu mir.
