A Light Summer Breeze...
Angel Iced Star is a fragrance that spontaneously captivated me to make a blind purchase.
I haven't done that in a long time and I must say, it's quite exciting not to know what to expect.
I was pretty sure it would suit me, as Mugler fragrances develop very pleasantly on my skin... to be precise, calmly (for example, Alien is a delicate, erotic
powdery jasmine dream for me). Since I really like gourmands and Angel is a fragrance icon, I was curious about this summer variant. I've heard and read almost only good things. The fragrance notes also match my current taste, and it can definitely have a bit of beach piña colada feeling. I think it just fits the summer!
The fragrance arrived quickly and the bottle is truly beautiful (if one likes it a bit kitschy). I find glitter and kitsch great in moderation. The bottle stands stable on the shelf, which is an absolute plus point. The star sparkles wonderfully in green-blue-purple tones.
It begins, as expected, very fruity. Pineapple and coconut are the main players. They form a happily dancing pair on the beach, with delicious piña colada in hand. Casual, fluffy, sweet. Later, the fragrance becomes milder and creamier. The fruitiness gives way to a vanilla-coconut blend.
Now comes the point where I don't know if it convinces me: With all Mugler fragrances, I have a beautiful, long-lasting base. That's actually one of the best things about these perfumes. I miss that with Iced Star. It ends at some point, after about 6-7 hours, and then it's gone. No slow farewell.
I know from experience that some fragrances need several tries to win me over. I will test it at different temperatures and with appropriately prepared skin.
Overall, my personal conclusion is: a beautiful, cheerful summer fragrance. Rather close to the skin and not room-filling. With average longevity. Much lighter in character than its predecessors.

Well, at least the blind buy wasn't a flop. And maybe it can still fully win you over. You described it perfectly!
