Tropical Aventus
La Carretera starts for me with a distinct similarity to Creed Aventus.
However, after a short time, you realize that it is definitely not a copy and is not quite so similar after all. Still, you can recognize the construction, the structure of an Aventus here.
The fragrance begins with a green apple note, which is immediately supported by a fruity blackcurrant after just a few seconds.
Furthermore, the bergamot comes to the fore, along with a bit of pineapple. The pineapple, for example, comes across much fruitier and, above all, more tropical/exotic than in Aventus.
As the fragrance develops, it gains woody vibes and, the longer it lingers on the skin, in my opinion, it becomes sweeter, but never too sweet or gourmand-like. Not at all.
The smoky component that many batches of Aventus have is completely absent in La Carretera, for example.
I like the scent, but the performance could be better.
It was fine for me.
Overall, just a fragrance with a similar approach to Creed Aventus, but still manages to carve out its own niche and exudes a wonderful lightly woody and, above all, tropical vibe.
