The start feels... medicinal? Weird. Spicy, about 4 out of 10 on a scale from bear spray to mulled wine spice blend. It has some flavor, but is mostly just sharp – hurts my nose and prickles my eyes a little. Leathery, but not in a pleasant way. Pungent, a little sour. Like it's trying too hard.
Once it settles on skin, it creates a cloud in the wearer's immediate vicinity that lasts for the first ~2,5 hours. Smells like being stuck in a liminal space of an endless obnoxious shoe store. I am safe in my home and yet I feel like a pushy clerk trying to force me to buy something is sneaking up on me from behind the nearest corner.
Once established, that scent never changes in a meaningful way. Just slowly gets softer hour by hour.
I found it soft enough to be enjoyable around ~4 hours in. Around ~5 hours in there was nothing left of it but a faint aftertaste of musky vetiver, only noticeable because you already know it's there.
I tested it on both myself and my partner – he got maybe ~30 more minutes in total out of the experience, but nothing else noteworthy. As a fan of all things leathery – he found it moderately enjoyable. I'm picky about my leathers – I didn't. It wasn't bad, but it also wasn't worth keeping. I think I'm going to give away my miniatures.
