Violets for free

My Nakuna journey continues - with “Mittumari,” a white violet cream veil.

“Mittumari” is indeed creamy like the other Nakunas I have tested so far, yet the somewhat boring DNA that I feared is not that dominant. Luckily. Because one wouldn't have been able to conquer the heavens with that. While you still can't do that with “Mittumari,” I’m just glad that not all Nakunas smell the same and interchangeable. Perhaps they are only united by their creaminess - I could live with that. “Mittumari” is certainly a showcase cream scent between Nivea and Bebe, between soft hands and cleanliness, between baby bottom and perm, between barbershop and lozenges. I like it. It feels high-quality, somewhat purple, and mildly unisex. Although it’s probably less suited for chest hair monsters from southern Sicily. More Paris than Genoa.

Bottle: sweet name, decent packaging
Sillage: creamy and hearty
Longevity: lasts and only fades quite late - 7-8 hours

Conclusion: creamy musk for the win! For fans of Narciso Rodriguez and hairspray. Snappy musk with steam.

Creamy, not perfumed. That's how I felt about it too.
