A Suit for Men Made of Pimento Leaves
An absolute "winner" where no new notes emerge, but the path the perfumer has chosen to arrive at this special composition is truly unique.
Very valuable and pleasant.
The opening is filled with spicy pimento leaf that spreads such a pleasant spiciness. To temper this a bit, the gourmand notes lightly attempt to balance the spice with rum and tobacco, but in such a special sequence that comes across as highly refined and very distinctive.
Salted caramel is neither salty nor sticky or intense. The remaining sweet gourmand notes I find very restrained and only pleasantly hinted at, almost transparent and very subtle. The bright woods soften the slight sweetness and provide a beautifully noble note.
I find the H/S pleasantly strong and perceive it as rather masculine, although it could look very nice on a lady.
