Who put steel wool in the cotton candy?

Kepler-51D is a cotton candy planet (the English term is "Super-puff"), a large planet with a very low density. If one wants to use this concept as inspiration, it naturally lends itself to crafting a pleasing, pale pink gourmand.
Or one could just leave it.

With a soft hiss, the airlock opens. I step out onto the surface of the cotton candy planet - will it hold me?
The haze surrounding me smells fruity and tangy, like orange and passion fruit. I walk a few meters. My steps stir up the porous ground, and an alien note rises to my nose. Cardamom and carrot mix with the fruity scent, bringing a dark premonition to mind - something is not right here.
Too late do I understand. The ground beneath me cracks, rumbles - and begins to tilt. The smell of the alien presence grows stronger, and I start to slip. Within seconds, the ground breaks apart with a crack and a crash, I slide towards the abyss and am swallowed.

Puff. Soft landing.
The scent of fruits is gone. I look up at the tiny hatch of light and sense that it will not return either.
Instead, I am now surrounded by a completely different world. I have fallen into a bed of pink cotton candy and fine caramel threads. Amazing - it smells sweet, but not nearly as sweet as one would expect. But... what is poking me? Something cold and hard glimmers through the delicate pink. Is that, woven into the cotton cloud, perhaps... steel? Indeed, I now perceive metallic notes in the cotton candy scent. The longer I sit here, amidst the pink and caramel threads, the more I notice the silvery ones among them, they seem to multiply, and suddenly the cotton candy doesn’t seem so soft anymore. On the contrary - although it continues to smell, it seems to be getting harder and cooler. I stand up and look around. There is no way out in sight. Nothing to help me climb back up to the surface. I will likely have to endure this alien world for quite a while. Or, wait a moment... the brown threads in the cotton candy... that’s not spun caramel at all! That’s leather! Many, many meters of leather strips! Maybe I can still get out of here, and hopefully quickly.

I really don’t know who should wear "Kepler-51D" and in what situation. It is quite obviously a concept fragrance that aims to capture the alienness of an exoplanet and the cotton candy association. Why the perfume promotes moisture so strongly is beyond me - it lasts only a few moments and has nothing to do with the rest of the scent.
Niche perfumes generally last a long time. I can still smell this one after 24 hours. But do you really want that?
