Ahoy sailor
Away with the fizzy drinks
Pepper cannonballs are raining down
The wooden mast is already smoldering
We'll end up as algae food for amber whales

At the meeting: "How many fragrance notes do we want to use?"
"All the ones we have left."
Still intriguing...
I really appreciate the craftsmanship of the perfumer, even though nothing has been for me yet. The raw materials are top-notch, though.
Algae and amber always intrigue me, especially together.
It starts off very sharp-peppery, zesty-citrusy, and gin-like. Reminds me of fizzy powder but without the sweetness.
There's a scent of Kokel hovering above it all. Both woody and green Kokel notes. It's also a bit dry-woody and bitter-green. If you want to truly experience gunpowder, this is the right one, unlike the XJ Don. Family tester from the next room: "What smells so burnt here?" The sillage is particularly strong. A mineral-tobacco-spicy amber note is present in the background. Towards the end, the oud comes through more, giving it a somewhat jungle-like vibe.
All in all, it's an excitingly complex, natural, and successful pirate journey, just not my cup of tea.
Thanks to Chizza for the testing opportunity.
