I can't pick out the floral components, for example. And when that happens, the perfumer has done something wrong.
They mention Mezcal here. Real Mezcal smells completely different. Just another supposedly "cool" note listed.
Because the pirates are whispering from the barrel 🙃... My favorite would have been the first Millefleurs, which I unfortunately missed. You can't get back to this exact version of Millefleurs. 🤷♀️
My God, there's a lot going on in there.
I'd still like to try the house, though.
I just can't warm up to the brand.
Surely the woody signature will excite many, but I can't shake the impression of a roaring campfire.
I can pick out the oud, but the floral components are harder to detect.
Let me list all the sour official notes, only to end up smelling a very sour citrus note:
Kaffir lime, grapefruit, Thai ginger, West Indian orange.
I could do the same with the woods.
I can't identify the rum, but I can sense the mezcal with a bit of imagination. People familiar with mezcal and tequila will likely just smile indulgently.
In summary, it's a smoky woody scent with spicy citrus undertones.
