I don't even know where to start. In the opening, I smell mezcal, lime, and gunpowder, then after a little blackout, I'm transported to the jungle with its animals, smelling shiploads of tobacco, spices, rum barrels, and nuts. Someone has seaweed on greasy clothes, makes a fire, roasts coffee, brews black tea. It's a multitude of notes that could end in cacophony but instead comes together in a picture, one that later fades into roaring silence... the smoky, peppery, mineral gunpowder scent that I love, lingers on my skin throughout like a permeable blanket over all the other notes.
Not a fragrance I would wear, but rather a flood of images that I could enjoy repeatedly... and have: I've been trying to "tame" this scent for a week now and feel like I'm starting over again and again.
