The view through the kaleidoscope
An explorer stands on deck, his ship made of creaking wood breaking through the waves. The sun, already strong in the sky, bathes the sea in golden light. Seagulls circle high above, writing and dancing with the salty and rough wind of the sea that blows impetuously through the sails. The explorer doesn't carry much with him, just the bare essentials: a kaleidoscope hanging from a leather strap around his neck.
With curious eyes, he lifts the kaleidoscope and looks through it. The world shatters into colors and shapes, but there, among all the iridescence, he sees something special: an island, untouched, lush green and fresh. He turns the kaleidoscope a little and suddenly limes appear, countless, bright green and juicy and shimmering. A strong desire sweeps through him, he must go there, he wants to feel the scent and freshness of the island.
With firm resolve, he sets course for the mysterious coast. Later, as he sails through the spray, he takes another look through the kaleidoscope. He is still on Kurz, but this time it shows him more: the island is not uninhabited. A people live there, a harmonious, peaceful life. He sees them collecting honey directly from the honeycombs deep in the forest, a dense forest of various fragrant woods. The honey shines golden, almost like liquid light.
At last he docks. The air of the island welcomes him with a fragrance that immediately envelops him: a salty breeze, infused with the citrusy freshness of limes, mixed with the warm aroma of woods and honey. He is greeted warmly by the islanders. By the fire, on which resins are steaming, flowers lie next to them, gathered in the shade of the forest.
