NOLES 14 smells to me like warm, fresh laundry. The scent immediately triggered an image in me: my grandpa took over the ironing for my grandma in her old age, due to her arthritis in her arms. He then set up an ironing room. Every time I walked in, it smelled of fresh, white cotton, muslin, and linen combined with the hot steam from the iron. Somehow dry, yet still moist. Very hard to describe.
When I smelled the fragrance, I immediately started to cry - because my grandpa is no longer alive and was the most important person in my life. I thought I would never smell him again - my grandpa was incredibly vain, stylish, and very well-groomed. The scent is by no means masculine, but clean. However, not soapy.
With fresh laundry, I personally think it also depends greatly on the materials.. Polyester, which unfortunately is a main component in fast fashion today, smells completely different than freshly washed cotton, silk, muslin, or viscose.. A wonderful scent that evokes a very personal, valuable association in me.
Aside from that, I find it a lovely everyday fragrance - I have also received numerous compliments (mainly from women). It doesn't project far, but is noticeable on my skin for 6 hours. It's worth testing - fragrances tend to develop in a sweet direction on me, probably due to my pH level. So please note: it really smells different on everyone, I've also smelled it on friends and find the different developments super interesting!
