Short and sweet: a friend wanted to sell this fragrance and asked me if I would do it for her on Parfumo. I had never heard of the scent and had to ask twice who it was by. I must honestly admit that I still don't know! Some blogger. Anyway, my dear friend wanted to sell the scent "because it doesn't smell like fresh laundry. I don't smell that. To me, it smells different. But I can't describe it!" - Well, bring the box along. Maybe I'll like it.
I just had a physio appointment with said friend. I sprayed it on before the treatment and found it terrible!! Green, cold grandma rose. Like grandma's bath soap. My friend said, "yes exactly!! Like my grandma's pure soap!" Soapy green, very clean start.
After about an hour, powdery notes come in. Powdery clean musk at its best! The rose disappears and it smells like cleaner chemistry. I can actually sense linen in the base as well.
By now (about three hours after spraying), I really like it. WARNING: to me, it smells like Teint de Neige Eau de Toilette; just more wearable. Simply less overwhelming and less powdery. Less pompous, but more modern!
I still don't know who the fragrance is by. But I'm considering letting it move in with me instead of selling it for my friend Eva! Tomorrow I will wear it at work - maybe there will be a few more words attached tomorrow!
Es gibt so viele großartige Düfte auf dem Markt – da würde ich persönlich nicht die ersten Stunden „durchhalten“, nur weil der Drydown überzeugt. Für mich muss ein Duft von Anfang bis Ende stimmig sein. Bin gespannt, wie er dir morgen gefällt und ob er am Ende doch noch im Souk landet.
Da gebe ich dir total recht. Ich muss ein Duft so gut finden, dass ich alle Phasen von ihm liebe. Vom ersten Sprüher bis zum drydown und auf Kleidern, auf die ich grad im Sommer am meisten sprühe.
Bin selbst ganz gespannt, wie er sich morgen entwickelt!
