VERY strong honey & orange opening that dries to lavender tea cake vibe
This was a total blind buy for me. I, like so many others, am really obsessed with anything including a milk note right now, and I love lavender, so I wanted to give this a try. The honey and orange are VERY strong in the beginning. I'm not a huge honey fan as it can sometimes go a bit funky for me, so I don't love the opening of this. The beginning has a bit of funk/bug spray thing going on because of the honey/orange zest. But after the first 5 minutes, it dries down into a really lovely, creamy, sweet scent with just a hint of lavender. Not so much lavender that this goes into spa territory for me. It stays in gourmand territory. I reminds me of a lavender tea cake. The dry down is really sweet and lovely. (And it's worth the few minutes of funk in the opening for me)
