Who seeks, finds
Amsterdam
Right on the first day of my short vacation, Obey was on the agenda. I actually just wanted to check out the Amsterdam Exclusives. So, I went into the store, acclimatized briefly, and then took stock. In a display case at the back of the store stood the No.1
Long story short, I directly asked if I could test it. Then I sprayed it on my skin immediately, as test strips were not available anyway.
What greeted me were pine needles, cedar, anise, a very subtle citrus note, and sage. Earthy patchouli and juniper berry paired with dry oud.
Irritated, my nose was drawn back to my wrist. Was this really a fragrance from a streetwear label or was it a scent from Prin Lomros?
A grin spread across my face. Wow! Incredible start and it hasn't been available on the website for years. It seems to have been overlooked here.
"I would take it right away"
After several failed attempts to find that one last box that was shown in the system, I thought it might not be meant to be for me and the fragrance. A colleague joined me, and another fifteen-minute search began in the fairly small store.
In the meantime, the citrus note faded, and an ethereal, soothing cloud enveloped me.
And then the search was finally rewarded. A bag wrapped in brown paper came to light. The last one is mine.
