Tea and milk from different points of view
I love milky tea gourmands. They really are one of my favorite perfume microgenres. Sweet and heavy like Kilian Princess or light and fresh like Replica Tea Escape, I can't get enough of them.
But of course, I don't want them all to smell the same, and I'm happy to report that Milk & Matcha brings something new to the table.
Its milkiness is not purely realistic and edible, there is also a clean, musky aspect to it. I really enjoy the interplay between these two different milky facets of the scent.
The matcha part is just as multifaceted: Herbal and aromatic on the one hand, fresh and invigorating like a glass of iced green tea with lemon on the other.
Despite all the contrasts, the blend feels very smooth. Over the time it changes its focus from aromatic to musky to vanillic in a seamless, subtle way.
This is a lovely daytime choice that is very versatile and easy to wear. It's especially suitable for mild weather like in springtime, but never really out of place all year round, as it's both warm and fresh.
