Does "Radio Eriwan" mean anything to you?

There used to be these jokes (yes, in my youth a longtime-ago) where Radio Eriwan answered all questions with "in principle yes, but...." That describes Salvia for me.

Is Salvia a delightful, gentle herbal scent? Yes, but now and then a citrus note reminiscent of toilet cleaner emerges, tearing apart this beautiful herbal veil.

When I see Salvia in colors, it presents itself as a delicate green, transparent veil of subtle meadow herbs, sweet, fresh, held in suspension by the slightly bitter mate note. This gossamer organza scarf with its pale blue-violet edges flutters softly in the wind; one wants to wrap oneself in it and dance fairy-like across the meadow -

and then, completely unexpectedly, someone splashes yellow citric acid spots on it with poster paint! At some point, these ugly spots disappear again, the beautiful veil flutters back - snap, the citrus spots are back. This entire interplay lasts for a good 5/6 hours for me, although this is probably only perceived by my nose, as the sillage is very close to the skin.

So back to Radio Eriwan: "Would Salvia be a scent you would wear? - In principle yes, but only without the toilet cleaner!"

I had a great time reading this. Basically, I would like it too, but without the urinal cake. Anyway, sage always rings all my bells.
