Alien only slipped by in the smallest doses. The purple bottle is more show than substance. It is a not bad, but very hard to describe fragrance. Pleasantly sweet, leaning towards "Sun (Eau de Toilette) | Jil Sander," yet softer, more independent, and rounded. Synthetic, yes, but not unpleasant. You also don't overwhelm your surroundings with it like you do with Alien. The Alien trail that usually follows you is missing. If you like Alien, you can give it a try. For the price, you can't go wrong. All in all, a gentle fragrance that becomes powdery later on.
