With no other fragrance do I feel such a strong need to describe it, yet I simultaneously hesitate because I find it incredibly difficult to find the right words.
It consists of only two notes: copal resin and cedarwood. But each time I experience the scent differently, revealing other facets, evoking different associations within me. And almost every time, these are contradictory feelings. At first, it challenges me in various ways, only to then grant me inner calm and peace that carry me through the day. It is a truly special gem. A treasure for my soul.
Some of my associations:
The axe strikes a deep wound into the trunk of the old cedar.
Dry clouds of incense scream upwards from it.
Bitter challenge, before the inner mirror:
Look closely! Then I will give you back your strength!
Memory of incense reminiscent of Gregorian chant,
Transporting the soul into melodic vibrations.
Resinous bright incense in the flowing garment of liturgical dance,
Expression of spiritual attitude.
Pale yellow pearls, soft sadness,
Dark wood, deep comfort.
Great longing,
Greatest security.
Addendum: I find the Solid similar, although it starts with a typical Solid vibe, which I do not like as much. After about half an hour, the two variants no longer differ in my perception. The bottle is no longer produced. The Solid has only been available recently.
A heartfelt thank you to Floyd and Can for the samples!
