Only from rose facets, tobacco, vanilla, and tonka does a wonderful, spicy-dark, complex scent emerge here. It pulls me deep into something old... Images from 1921, my grandmother Vally in a Charleston dress and a bobbed haircut... Beautifully spicy, oriental, (just a hint of) incense, a delicate amaretto note, and rose is incorporated very darkly and deeply.
