Opens strongly with cinnamon spiced smoke and something a bit camphorous (eucalyptus? tea tree?). At this stage I was a little alarmed by how powerful it was and worried I’d made a mistake.

However, the strong edge fades surprisingly quickly, and after about 10 minutes I’m left with a much more mellow and intimate patchouli and tobacco blend.

I would have enjoyed a slightly stronger earthy note (or perhaps even a bit of worn leather?), but overall it’s warm and comforting, like snuggling into a chair by the fireplace at your grandfather’s cabin in the woods.
