Rhizome 02 was not on my radar until a visit to the local fragrance temple (Parfümerie Becker). When I said I was still looking for something nice for Christmas and after I explained what I liked, the dedicated saleswoman introduced me to this perfume.
I've been wearing the fragrance for a few days now, spraying it regularly so that I can fully immerse myself in it and appreciate its many facets. It is important for me to understand the perfume I wear.

On first spraying, the distinctive, earthy warmth of resins and woody notes is immediately noticeable. The woody accents are reminiscent of the deep-rooted wood of a centuries-old tree, while the resinous nuances convey the warmth and scent of fresh resin in the air after a rain - a striking, almost balsamic effect that makes the fragrance both earthy and calming.
