Nose and Character Charmer
After a "nose break" due to illness, "Come Vorrei" by Christian Richard was the perfect test candidate for my "re-entry" into our very personal addiction...
A defensive, very delicate and soft cardamom scent, clearly unisex, that takes your breath away especially with its dreamy top note. The way a truly high-quality grapefruit, which in no way reminds one of shampoo or deodorant, is woven together with the delicious spice is undoubtedly a work of art. Two of my favorite notes. Hissing and calming at the same time. It drives away worries and sadness and is a really fine number. It reminds you why (totally underestimated by the masses) olfactory cinema can be art, everyday life, and relaxation all at once. A few moments of freedom and beauty. Simply top. In the further course, this enthusiasm is not reached again; the perfume becomes bright woody and slightly gourmand, with an almost nutty magnolia as a link, silver frankincense as a doorstop, and ambrette variety as a conclusion. All nice, but never again as grand as the first hour. Nevertheless: that’s enough to come back in a good mood!
Bottle: a bit boring, pure niche
Sillage: delicate, not whisper-soft
Longevity: 5-6 hours on the verge of disappointment
Conclusion: a wonderful cardamom character complimenter - initially sparkling with grapefruit, then harmoniously (albeit highly unspectacular) fading out with balsamic praline kisses.
