Cocoyster plays in a world that I simply enjoy.
I predominantly like salty scents. I also love coconut and the combination of salt and coconut.
I get similar impressions, for example, from
Parfums d'Elmar Yaringa.
However, the Yaringa is a bit softer and sweeter overall in comparison.
Additionally, Cocoyster has a slight incense note towards the end and feels generally a bit "rougher" than the Yaringa.
Cocoyster initially starts with a powerful burst of coconut.
The salty character is already noticeable as well.
The coconut note keeps everything somewhat in check with its initially strong presence.
A few moments later, the coconut pulls back a bit with its sweetness, allowing the salty character a bit more room and attention.
Over many hours, in my opinion, it is simply a great blend of this salty, maritime flair and coconut.
Towards the end, or with the passage of time, the scent becomes a bit more "masculine." Masculine might not be the right word, but I can't quite describe it right now.
In any case, I then get a subtle incense note along with the elem resin.
Everything is still very well balanced.
I really like it!
In my eyes, the scent is super unisex wearable, and the performance of the fragrance is completely fine to good. It lasts about 8 hours on me, and the sillage is also not bad.
Anyone who enjoys salty scents and has no problem with coconut should definitely give this fragrance a try.
