Sweet but not overwhelmingly sweet. Salty but not drying or astringent. Like drinking the best pina colada on the beach, gentle and airy and sunny and tropical. Or like lounging poolside at a very nice hotel, upbeat music music playing, cold cocktail in hand, with the clean and crisp seawater not too far away.
Cocoyster was perfect when I smelled it on paper, and I hoped it would be perfect on me too. Luckily, it is. It reminds me of the fattest oyster I’ve ever eaten in my life, on my honeymoon, an oyster so plump it had marbling. This scent gets saltier and richer over time which I really love. It’s so aquatic and wearable with that big juicy oyster note underneath.
At first this is very bright and juicy, almost like a junior high body spray, but it very quickly feels more sophisticated and mature. The salt note is actually really sexy the longer it goes. It’s like you swam in the ocean and changed into a flowy white dress for dinner without showering. There’s still salt in your hair and on your skin, traces of the sea dried down underneath your makeup, which is trendy and glowy and effortless, of course.
