Refreshing and pleasant, great for layering.
I quite enjoy this soft and pleasant perfume, it's not overpowering yet I wouldn't call it weak. A great balance of floral and fruity notes that keeps it from being any one thing for too long! The citrusy notes keep the florals from being too powdery and vice versa. Can have a soapy/shampoo-y note to it especially when sprayed on clothes vs. skin, but I think that's just a side effect of sandalwood and jasmine together.
It doesn't last the longest by itself, but at this price point I'm fine needing to reapply; and personally, I really enjoy layering this with other scents. Because it has floral, fruit, and musk in there it can be paired with a lot of different things and enhance each one. Combined with a gourmand or fruity scent, this balances everything and you get more out of the fruit notes; combined with florals, it freshens them up; and combined with a musky or spicy scent, it calms it down and makes it a bit more 'feminine' if you think of it that way. I've enjoyed wearing this alongside one of my colognes and it just keeps everything from getting too dark/intense.
It's a bit simple and subtle at times, but if you enjoy the smaller nuances of a floral, you can find some complexity in this one and I think it's a must-have if you're passionate about lotus and/or blue china aster as these are both rarer florals (especially the latter). Not the most creative or challenging fragrance out there, but very balanced and soothing! (Could be a good bedtime perfume as well, for those of you who like to wear something to bed like me.)
