Uncomplicated Eccentric
Sour? Not even close...
Difficult?! You and difficult! What a cheek! She is....simply.... well, simply! A very simple individualist....yes indeed!
Harmless she is, uncomplicated...and maybe just a tiny, really tiny bit stubborn...
"Relentlessly eccentric" - ridiculous!
It was a mistake to meet with fragrance note bore like this cuddly Helio-Sandalwood, this soft, light beige whiff of nothing with a double name.
He complained that he couldn't handle her sour nature. He had imagined her to be altogether sweeter, he arrogantly stated after reading the description....Now she would even look so carrot-like....Why didn’t she bring the iris with her? That was really the last straw!
She grinds her teeth in anger and ruffles her autumn-dark hair.
The pepper-red stilettos she energetically flings off her feet, snorting. The dark violet feather boa lands gracefully on a cool, gigantic oak moss sofa.
Sour cucumbers! On days like this, only sour cucumbers help, which she loves. She needs them...immediately!
Damn, only the similarly pickled blueberries left. Then they will have to do.
Exhausted, she sinks into the soft oak moss of her couch, the jar of blueberries in hand. At this time of year, it never really gets bright here. Never really warm.
That's how she likes it. That's how she wants it. November, that's her time. When nature goes to sleep. When the sprouting of new seeds is still a distant dream.
Her house has no roof.
It's beautifully cold at her place, and she can always smell a bit of the wet earth from outside.
Here, nestled in the oak moss, she can actually unfold a little sweetness, finally bloom quietly. The lilac-painted cheeks smell delicately sweet. Soft-dark floral is the violet feather adornment. And while the dark clouds are driven away by the wind above her and the last leaves whirl away in the wind and rain before her eyes,
She blooms in the moss, a single bright splash of color in a green-brown-gray world.

I shared this scent without knowing it. The notes sounded exciting.
The first thing I noticed when testing was the smell of blueberries. And (unlike most others), positively. I had expected something sweet, foggy, food-like aroma, or rather feared that you often get when "berries" are listed among the notes.
Instead, it smelled: sour. And also berry-like. I found that quite good, because in my nose, the blueberry scent is simply more authentic.
Next, the red pepper directly hit my nose, followed by a little violet scent and a really hefty dose of oak moss, with a bit of patchouli. Wow, that’s quirky, I thought. Moss and sour berries dominate the scent for a long time, after a while a touch more floral note comes in. Helio and violet, which makes the perfume impression a bit more accessible. At a safe distance, anyway. Because, when you press your nose to the scented arm, it does smell a bit like bitter-sour witch elixir.
Not an easy scent.
It is dark, soft and cool, spicy, sour
Absolutely unique.
And THAT is what I find great about it!
I was a bit surprised that it was received so poorly. Because, even though it is not very pleasing, I can't find anything extremely bad about it. But so be it.
My husband also didn't like it, spoke of a nasty off-note (probably the characteristic acidity for this scent ;-)), my daughter found it simply awful. My son was at least ambivalent.
November Violet is not really beautiful. But it is very interesting and simply excitingly different.
That’s why I like the old, sour-pussed thing.
Let’s see when I dare to actually wear this crowd-pleaser properly, and whether I still love it afterwards. ;-)
When that happens, I will note it here.

Unfortunately, the summer berries had turned a bit rancid by November: The poor violet went sour and mixed itself a carrot powder shake.

Musty, sour, cucumber-like. November Blues would be the name here. I thought good things come in threes... nope. The bottle looks nice...

The combination of sour blueberry & carrot smells like cucumber water on me. After 2 hours it softens (violet, heliotrope, woods), but still yuck.

Sour, earthy, powdery: November is probably no longer a good time for violets and berries.

Between musty earth and damp moss, there’s no room for delicate violets and fresh berries in the cool November forest.
