The Famous Violinist!
When I first smelled this fragrance, I was completely blown away! Black Rose is absolutely straightforward, yet crafted to a high standard.
This raises the question in one’s mind... How does it work to have little money and a lot of perfume?
The name is a bit misleading, as the scent for me has less to do with black and much more with absolute elegance. The main feature clearly lies in a full, lush, bright red rose, which is fruity thanks to the raspberry, rounded off with juniper and leather.
It is absolutely unisex and could have been a MFK fragrance; one would hardly notice the difference, which is why it doesn’t get any attention since it is from an unknown label.
Now I will explain why I chose the title... The best and most famous violinist in the world was in America at a shopping mall and played, hardly anyone recognized him... let alone threw money into his hat. The problem was, he didn’t draw attention to himself! And the same goes for Black Rose! On its true stage, people come from all over the world; on that day, he didn’t interest anyone… Black Rose by Swiss Arabian is unfortunately on the wrong stage!
