The blooming gardens of Barbicaja
The blooming gardens of Barbicaja above the bay of Corsica.
Green,
harsh, like the cooling air of the evening.
A breath of warmth of cut grass.
Vacation
**
A lush profusion of white flowers that doesn't seem overwhelming to me.
Lovely accents of apricot
A somewhat watery note, whether from the flowers or a splash of synthetics, which is so delicately integrated that it doesn't bother me.
There is also a wonderful green that initially seems very harsh. I think of an admixture of galbanum. Here I briefly have very old fragrances in my head. But only for this one aspect.
Later, the green becomes softer, sometimes reminiscent of grass.
It becomes sweeter, a slight sweetness is added, like nectar.
The green remains until the end, is minimally supported by vetiver, so that it never becomes too sweet or too sweet. Very soft cedar goes well.
Vanilla, maybe a few sprinkles, it never becomes gourmand.
I can't make out patchouli explicitly. Perhaps it just grounds the fragrance and gives it depth.
A very wonderful fragrance, with a wonderful dance
from yesterday into the present.
