I get a strong blast of oud right off the bat. This oud note is the kind I prefer, earthy and warm, like fresh soil, with a whiff of smoke from the incense that evokes a campfire deep in the forest that has burnt out. Then the lime, raspberry, and jasmine come into play, a perfectly balanced trifecta of fresh citrus, slightly indolic (but not stanky) white floral, and jammy red fruit. This scent is unisex, not in the way that it is neither masculine nor feminine, but in the way that it is a perfect 50/50 blend of masculine and feminine.
If you don’t like oud and you want to learn to like it, I would highly recommend this. This is an oud-heavy fragrance in an approachable way.
