Cold Outdoor Air
Smells like cold fresh air moving through an old country house as you open the windows after months of being closed.
Imagine escaping to such a place, surrounded by forest, and breathing in high altitude air mixed with aromatic resinous pine. The florals, mimosa and magnolia, are not very obvious to me. Instead my nose picks up a soft, powdery, citrusy smell with light spices.
Air Rides turns slightly more woody, earthy, and grounded after a while. The vetiver and sandalwood are perfectly complemented by the salty, slightly animalic ambergris, which makes the atmospheric scent descend onto the skin beautifully and become part of it.
Nothing feels separated here. All notes blend in naturally as one whole piece, like air traveling from the sky through forests and finally into the earth. A beautiful atmospheric scent made for skin.
