Nostalgic Summer Days by the Lake
This is the smell of the neighborhood lake. Its deep in the woods but everyone knows the way. Over the years people have made a path just by walking the same route over and over. Along the path are native plants and flowers, growing unchecked. Its hot out and it adds a heaviness to the atmosphere, making the florals' indolic notes even more intense and honeyed. When you get to the lake, it is brown and murky but refreshing and lively with people lounging on the shore and others jumping into the water. This is a balsamic wood and earthy aquatic floral scent that can be very nostalgic if you are someone who spent large chunks of your childhood going to the local lake.
