In all fairness I don't know what a waterlily smells like exactly. I haven't sniffed the isolated accord for reference. However, the closest olfactory reference that I CAN make is to that of a hyacinth flower. It's sweet, it's juicy, and heady. The saltiness of this fragrance works as an additive to tease out the tartness that lies in the floral accords. It's one of the most lush floral fragrances I've smelled, and I would say truly a portable oasis.
