Dua compositions can indeed come across as very successful. They are often said to have piercing, synthetic attachments. This is, of course, a matter of interpretation and does not always correspond to the facts. As for the scent itself: to create a comparison to the original, I should also briefly mention Memo's African Leather. This has fascinated me since the first spray. Especially this complex-fresh and at the same time spicy-dark leather. From the opening to the final flicker of the scent. The masterpiece from Memo is truly unique and has no equal. The Cuir de Africano, on the other hand, starts off very citrusy-piercing and is already, at the opening, very far from the refinement of African Leather. Then follows something that could remind one of Memo's African Leather, but without reaching its noble composition. This means: There is quite a gap missing to recognize the scent at least somewhat as a "scent twin."
The sillage and also the longevity are typically very successful for Dua. The price per milliliter is now in the higher price segment (thanks to import VAT and shipping). Therefore, I would recommend everyone to reach for the original. Unless one is satisfied with what they receive.
