I want; no, I must..

..write my first review here and today. After countless years at Parfumo, after numerous impulsive mispurchases. After exchanges and highs... Some fragrances were allowed to stay, for longer... or even forever!?! Despite everything, I am always on the hunt for THE ONE FRAGRANCE! Does it even exist?

But now to the reason for this review:
Today, the "perfume" supplier once again (as so often) brought a surprise package. (because blind purchase number 101)
I have always been very curious whether the yellow delivery van of the well-known service provider will drive into my street ((-;

Yes, and today was once again the case. Joy joy!

The package was impatiently unwrapped,
rustle rustle. Ah, there you are!!
Thank goodness nothing has been sprayed on today or has it already evaporated?!

Your name made me weak
** Origins of Nature**

it just melts on the tongue, at least I think so..
I, who loves to be outdoors, in wind and weather.. Preferably in the wind; sunshine doesn’t have to be mandatory.
I also really like rain.. the dryness of the last summers makes me prefer wind and rain clouds even more.

So, but now finally to the scent itself. Although all of this fits wonderfully with Origins of Nature.

I had already written a statement today.
But this time it simply isn’t enough.
Now, after almost five hours, I can still smell it. THIS SCENT!
For me, this is not a perfumey perfume (I hope you know what I mean?)
No, it is more of a smell, a scent of the forest,
Not a bright, sun-drenched forest... the dense treetops let little light and sun through.
Mossy, earthy... twigs and leaves on the forest floor already exposed to the natural decomposition process.

Mushrooms and lichens love it here. A scent of wet earth and a very light sweetness, perhaps from berries that enjoy this moisture and coolness here.

ORIGINS OF NATURE smells just like that.. after a long day outside, in the forest and fields.
After working in the earth... after sawn wood that has been lying by the roadside for some time...
After unadulterated fresh forest air, on a rainy day.

After coming home from outside in wind and rain.
When the skin warms up again... perhaps from a crackling fire in the fireplace..
Slightly smoky-ashy.
It smells cozy and familiar..

I can smell all of this in ORIGINS OF NATURE..
The scent takes its time and will naturally smell different on every skin (.. that is precisely what makes the fascination of fragrances)

By the way, I cannot identify individual scent components.
However, the vetiver can be clearly detected. Grassy green vetiver root! The woodiness could be papyrus... although I don’t really know what it smells like.

Cedarwood probably makes this scent
smell so woody-forest-like. But maybe I am reading too much into it.
Olfactory imagination; that’s how it should be!

An extraordinarily atypical scent from Dua.
For me, a discovery that brings a smile to my face..
On my next walk, it will accompany me..
It will not distort anything olfactorily.. In the forest, in the field, in the tall grass. In wind and rain... Then, when nature shows its rough side.

I hope I was able to introduce you to a beautiful and somewhat extraordinary scent with my fragrance debut.
