Only in the later drydown is it very similar to Layton, but before that, there are big differences. The freshness from the original is completely missing. Quite okay.
Freshness from the original? Do you still have an old batch? My 2020 Layton smells like lipstick. I have a decant that’s probably from 2017/18, and it has that freshness you’re talking about.
Phew, that doesn't sound as amazing as some people are saying. It was/is the first DUA that has at least somewhat caught my interest. Maybe I’ll just pass on it after all ^^
