Hmm, Gourmoud isn't necessary. I first thought it smelled like mushroom stew, then I read the comments again... I haven't tested much from the brand yet... (I think I've tried Milestones, and I liked that one too). Overall, I'm pretty ambivalent about the brand.
The new, bulky bottles were the beginning of the end. From then on, it was clear that Vicki-Lin and Milestones were lucky hits. They can't be repeated :)
I actually expected a lot less. But - among the truly sweet American scents of his recent, strange works, XXX is surprisingly solid and well-composed. However, the bottle is more than just hideous and cheesy. (In German - dreadful)
So, a (distorted) descendant of the great blueprint - Milestones. I can agree with that; this one somehow lacks the right punch. That's why it might seem more wearable to many than Milestones. I liked it quite a bit. Very nice state!
TSVGA started off so promising. Vicki-lin and Milestones are among the best from the brand for me. [I guess this only happens once every ten years] I don’t know if I would have recognized Milestones TWO here blindly... It feels like there’s too much "Xucker" mixed into the high-quality ingredients. It smells rich/sweet/earthy/resinous/black-vanilla...
To put it simply: the brand started off brilliantly. Milestones ranks very high in the Oud Olympus for me. I already see some parallels with the aforementioned XXX. I quite liked the gourmand touch. I need to test it again. But one thing is certain: the current releases can't compete with the originals, (so far) without exception.
# Website # Made in one go for owner James Barry's 30th birthday: Basically, this is Milestones 2. However, it's quite different. You might smell the Milestones DNA of oud, fossil amber, cocoa, and costus, but there's no crazy oud. Just smooth sweet ouds and gourmand ingredients.
Great state!
Really a shame. But thanks for this caricature :)
But I'm just reflecting 🙂
