Maybe the most expressive release from the lady so far. Incredibly complex and layered. There's so much going on, the evolution is so variable, it blends together in an extremely exciting way.
I already mentioned to someone else about this scent: it could appeal to me more. If you liked it despite the flowers, I might have been right with my previous statement. ;)
I would have expected you to rate it much worse based on the other statements. It's interesting that you enjoyed it here despite the florals and animal notes ^^
I'm a total citrus lover and own the pure oils of all three :) They feel quite pleasant and natural to me. Also, with many fragrances, Yatagan is perceived by others as just a great citrus cologne.
You've described it beautifully. Madjenoen is truly complex.
Fun fact: It's quite amusing how different the responses can be depending on the description of the same scent. :D
Yes, you're talking about the different reactions to different images, right? In one case, it sounds terrible and they’re put off, while in another it sounds positive and they actually love it 😂 But that's exactly why you can't rely on statements, hahaha.
You really can't put this one in a box. Citrus cologne? Rose-oud? Animalic? For me, it all works together excellently despite the complexity! And yes, it shows that you should only trust your own nose. 😂
Very nice scent! The citrus-fresh facets of the citrus notes & Taif rose combined with herbaceous-fresh lavender! The tuberose & the rest of the flowers become powdery-soapy & creamy with a hint of gum sweetness. The animalic notes are quite diverse with civet, deer, & beaver; I'd say it's dirty-leathery-musky. The balsamic-woody oud is also quite noticeable. I would wear it without the animalic notes, or I would need to test it again with that in mind. Without them, it would be an 8. So, after the great fresh start, it turns into a lovely rose oud with a bit of animalic, without completely losing the herbaceous freshness, which I like. The animalic aspect becomes tamer and was never too loud! Somehow, it also has a fizzy cola touch. Really well done!
