Fresh citrus and green tea, elegant and easy to wear
Morpheus is an energizing one. From the air I guessed Louis Vuitton Pacific Chill, with the caveat that I could be wrong. On paper it is citrus and mint, fresh and inviting, and it took me a second to trust my nose, because it is clearly more citrusy than Louis Vuitton Imagination. To me Imagination is a well-blended, soapy citrus tea, while this reads as citrusy green tea.
The box lists citron, bergamot and Sicilian orange on top, neroli and ginger in the heart, and black tea, Ambroxan and guaiac wood at the base. Those notes are definitely Imagination territory, but at the start the extra citrus pulled me toward Pacific Chill. As it dries down it gets a little sweeter, airy and fresh, and I do not get the soapy side that I usually find in Imagination.
Don't get me wrong, this is good. It is an elegant, sporty, non-offensive scent for daily wear. Is it the best inspired-by version of Imagination? I don't think so. Is it a good fragrance? Yes, and I want to do a full wear to see how it performs.
