Ramesses I has a now very well-known DNA. This scent clearly reminds me of Ganymede by Marc-Antoine Barrois. I wasn't a fan of Ganymede before, but over time I've grown more fond of this DNA, so much so that I now actually like it a lot. Therefore, I also really like Ramesses I.
The fragrance simply has that certain kind of freshness, which is slightly spicy, woody, and has a very light floral bitterness and powderiness.
This mix of saffron, the woody Akigalawood accord, osmanthus, a bit of violet, and immortelle likely brings that typical Ganymede vibe.
Essentially, the same notes are used.
This DNA just has something special. It is unique, light, elegant, well-received, and yet feels like it has a few edges and corners.
I like it!
The performance is perfectly fine. This scent lasts on me for 6-8 hours. Tending towards the eight-hour mark, at least on my skin. The longevity and sillage are often rated rather negatively by this brand, as I see. I personally cannot confirm that.
