With a feverish, hot head, I seek distraction with perfume during sleepless hours. Testing a new scent? … okay … I dare it.
Clumsily, with pain in my hands, I spill half of it! Tears roll…
But then the wonderful happens:
Reverently, I step into the light-filled Gothic cathedral made of tall trees. A faint breath of fresh, spicy air lifts me up. Like mighty pillars, the gray giants with their smooth bark stand in two rows. Their capitals made of osmanthus flowers support the light green vault. Strong branches form the flying buttresses that come together in pointed arches.
The richly decorated jasmine windows in the apse let the sunbeams in. They flow over the herb-mossy ground and draw a circular labyrinth on the earth in the transept. Slowly, I walk the winding path to the center, which countless feet before me have walked for centuries, in search of the greater, the higher, that which transcends everything. Upon reaching the center, I spread my arms, tilt my head back, and for a moment, I immerse myself in the infinity of the sky.
Very interesting scent description. I'm starting to really believe that this type of fragrance is perfect for meditation.
Wishing you a heartfelt recovery. 💞
