"To go all the way through, I must go backwards. But some places are irreversible."
Sweet pine tip molasses blocks the way.

Yes. That's probably always the case.

You're right about the irreversible part.

Yeah, the scent didn't captivate me.

Your statement is so wonderful! But the scent is probably just mediocre...

The name is really awesome, but it's a shame it was too bulky.

I'm - like Chop - also grateful for Abby's flops. The website and presentation create such high expectations that I've become cautious.

But still, it inspired you to create a great picture...

The solids are really lovingly made. You can't say the same about the bottles. I can't find a picture of the roll-on or sprayer. Those nasty screw-top "flacons" are more than expressionless.
Cellophane little spoons :D makes me grin :))

Now for the million-dollar question: when is the bottle = 1?
I couldn't answer that either.
I guess it can only be without it, just using a teaspoon in the cellophane bag. :-)

The swirl is really wild. Who knows what tomorrow will bring? There's no repeat button for yesterday. Trying to smell nice doesn't work. Which is also a good thing :)

"Some people build the future.
Some people tryin' to rebuild the past."
I'm actually really grateful to you for pointing out that the brand seems to have a lot of junk as well.
The whirlpool is already deep enough.

With Abby, I set the bar higher than with others ;-) the animalic/skin scent is, for me, Nerolinebel in the end.

I haven't figured it out yet.. But that's what makes it exciting.. I also found the animalistic wool note interesting. It's just the weak sillage that disappointed me. For me, it's not a 5, as there are other fragrances that deserve that..

You try, stumble, mix up the beginning and the end - and what do you gain?

For a price of €31.67 per ml, I expect more than just sugary spruce tips. Thanks to Floyd for the testing opportunity.

Young resinous conifers smell nice, but molasses doesn't belong in there. Sweet should be free ;-)

The brown sugar burns faster than the thread of a yarn ball through a maze. The drydown feels like you’ve just walked through neroli mist. Still too sweet/linear, though.

Icelandic bellwether wool, baby fir and black spruce tips, spring white pine resin, tobacco - according to the website.
# I primarily perceive young, resinous spruces cooked in brown sugar.
Subtly balsamic - if it were a color, it would be beige, natural wool. I can only catch a whiff of it in mild shades.
Abby can actually do it better.
