Aromatic Warfare
The opening is barniardy, probably due to the presence of Indian oud and manipur, a little leathery and smoky/sweet, where perhaps the choya nakh can make its contribution; some pepper and pleasant lavender in the background can also be perceived.
Allowing it to settle for a few hours the strong traits of the oud begin to soften and the woody, balsamic connotations become more perceptible (due to the burmese variety I think), with something tobacco and juniper berries to accompany it, until reaching the dry down where I perceive something earthy, to which I think the patchouli and mushrooms may contribute, with something musky/animalic in the background.
