Soil of Eden Zakir Gafur 2025

Civet has planted a beautiful rose garden behind her tree hollow, which she lovingly visits every day. After the inspection, there’s as always a Cherry Coke with green rose stem straw to sip on. Then, the herbs from the wet bed are cut; they come to dry in a sandalwood basket. The laundry is already done and is promptly hung up to dry between two oud trees in the cuddly soft wind. The evening is dawning, eucalyptus cool, and Zibi treats herself to a fruit tea with powdery porcini mushrooms and sneakily returns to the warm tree hollow, nibbling on a bit of mint and spraying mosquito repellent before gently falling asleep.

I would say it’s a distinct rose musk scent, fruity with a hint of cherry and cola wood, green stems, and citrus herbal tea candy with mint and a touch of incense, absinthe, and juniper or woodruff. I also caught a whiff of licorice and red wine. Oud is quite nice too, and sandalwood is very antique, sharp, and dry. So far, it’s all great and intense with a strong opening celebration that radiates so many roses. With all that, the scent becomes increasingly peculiar for me, cuddly soft and
hairspray, mosquitoes are spreading out.
The chypre base gradually begins with Zibi, which only comes in at the end, slightly creamy and cuddly with amber, saffron, resins, and porcini mushrooms in tow. The scent has been well crafted; without a doubt, it somehow reminded me of Ensar's Garden of Eden, but only a little. I also feel a bit of vintage with this scent; I have old Ensar vibes here, especially the roses like in EO3. I’ve become a bit soft
on my arm, on the hairs, it’s really nice.
The sillage is not for me, too much and too spray-like, but that’s okay.
